My accounts on these 3 days of no teaching
Monday I woke up at 7:30am, ready for the new beginning. I felt happy, excited and great. Then I went for my morning job, then showered, then switched on my computer to check my e-mail, moe mail, msn, blog, facebook and I'm stuck with facebook. Barn Buddy followed by new game YoVille, then Fish a Fish. And it took away about 2 hrs of my morning. Horrible. Totally fun and waste of time. And you can guess how I spent the rest of the 3 days. Farming, Visiting, Kissing, Fighting, Joking, Fishing. Hai. Did I mention Dota-ing?
Then on MSN I saw WenHao, Enzo, Sze Kiat, Calvin and Marcus online. There were all unwell! Can you believe it? Something is happening and it is not good. No dota with them because they were all unwell but the following day, WenHao asked me to play dota with him!! Enzo asked me to play the next day. Dota getting boring.
I played Left4Dead with Deron, Felix and Weiyu on Tuesday and it was FUN. I think I love L4D more and I heard L4D2 is coming. Can't wait to play. Yeah Yeah
Gosh 3 days had passed and I have not done anything constructive. Not good Not good. Got to repent and pray and work hard. Let's study together!!!

THE Onion ExperienceI got about 40 onions for my beloved 2T1 to draw.
This week lesson is to do an enlarge still life drawing of an onion.
I thought it will be quite interesting. The shape is good, the texture is great and so is the colour. Not forgetting to mention the smell.
I was also secretly hoping that it will tear them so badly that it would be quite a funny experience. Yes I was a little sadistic.
So I had the onions, I had the plan and I had my motivation.
I brought the bag of onions to class for the kids.
They were very excited it seemed, as the onions were quickly snatched away.
Then it began.
They started throwing their onions.
The peeled raw onions.
The juice dripping, skin flying, head smashing experience!
Argh!!!
But they had better plans. They threw the onions around, at their friends and at the wall They were creating such a mayhem that I had to stop them. It was horrific.
I guess they are now paying the price for all these;
Now the whole classroom stinks of onions; even vampire would not dare to step into their class.
This has to be my best farewell gifts for them.

What do you think about art?
This was the question I gave to my students earlier this month.
They would have to draw their opinion.
The results:
some of them drew beautiful illustration to tell me how much they hate art while others wrote a lengthy essay to explain why art is good.
It is just totally oxymoron.
Kids, you can never understand them...

Wah. Jasper from 2e3 is so good. I'm so proud of him.
He has made it to be one of the Best Nature Explorer from the NUS Nature Explorer's programme and he is offered a 4D/3N field study camp from the 7-10 Sep 2009 with the NUS Professors at Tioman, at no cost at all.
He will be receiving the certificate from the Guest-of-Honour, Minister of the Environment and Water Resources, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim on the 5th Aug 2009,
He will also be offered museum attachments and is eligible to apply for research grants if he chose to continue with this programme. He will also be offered 1 scholarship a year that will provide for the undergraduate studies at NUS should he major in biodiversity.

Good morning Sunday Morning!
Ok here is the answer to the million dollar question:
When is my last day in school?
My last day in school will be on the 24th of July, Friday.
Which means I am left with 5 days before I'm going to NIE to study somemore.
HaHa life is always about studying, applying and improving.
Cool.
But... I got 2 pending issues...
One, I have not done my school homework.
Two, I have not gotten anything to wear for racial harmony day. Sigh...

This is the first song that caught my attention and won me towards Michael's legacy
In here, there is no elevated king, no fancy dance move, and no crazy crowds. Just the earth and a humble plead to the rest of the world around us.
I woke up on Friday with my head spinning and my body aching.
I thought to myself damn... I'm not myself.
Struggling to get up and wake to the bathroom but strength has left me.
Oh... I feel so old, so weak, so cold.....
Is it a fever? I wonder and took my thermometer from the bag. Ok if I'm 37.1 then I won't go to school.
I took my temperature and it says 37.3 °C. So I'm having a fever. Oh no. I have to miss my class; my 1E1 and 1E2. (I think that's what all teachers will think of whenever they are sick. As for the students, some may think ''oh no i will miss today's lesson...' but I am quite sure most will scream and shout "YIPPEE!!! NO SCHOOL!!!!")
So I call the school, made arrangement and then went to see a doctor.
By then I've hit 38.6°C, my highest in my entire life so far, I think. It was quite horrible and I will never want to go through it again. The clinic staff gave me the mask to wear. Geez now I really feel like a sick person. See my doctor. No... no H1N1 (btw it is now considered a common flu and the government has stopped counting since.) I got tonsillitis. So I'm given one day MC and off I go.
My nightmare begins..... it got worse and I thought I'm going to die. my fever was persistent and I spent the entire day sleeping. I shunned to take my temperature, I was too weak to take anyway. I got so many missed call and smses that day. Because of this, I missed my school, I missed my LAN session with the gang, I missed my steamboat, I missed my overnight prayer meeting, I missed my fellowship after church and I missed my duty today.But I'm recovering, praise God. Still weak but I should be able to make it to school tomorrow. I hope I'm fully charged.

I've not been blogging, I don't know how,
School has been the same, not much stuff to say;
Most of the classes were tamed, its kinda disturbing,
Those few classes who got worst, it is very irritating.
H1N1 came, and E-Learning should take place,
but the wait seems forever, I don't think it'll happen.
Left 4 Dead + Dota game
Playing with students almost every other day,
Kind of fun but frustrating,
Always being hunted, oh my what to do;
Being a nice teacher has its disadvantages too.

Dota Championship becomes Dota telematch
a telematch that was brutal, owning and wickedsick
Firstly, I was smoked by the sec 1s.
Then one of my best player, Marcus, did not turn up.
On top of all these, I was severally "owned''
The first match was still ok. It was 4v5. My team 4 members and team with strong players. I played the Stealth Assassin not too bad but opponent was strong. Unfortunately, we lost. Blame the noob in the team and it was not me.
Second match was up. 5v5. My team played with Jia Ning's team. His team consisted of Cao Cao, Marcus, Chun Kiat, Calvin and Jia Ning. It was horrible. First of all, this player, whom I did not know but in my team, took all the items that I've bought, leaving me with nothing. Then being an Huskar, a fairly not-so-strong hero during early game, I was owned! Life is like paper. Come out, ambushed by 2 heros, died. revived. Come out, kenna ambushed again, died. Revived... died... died... died.. I died 16 times. Sigh. Need to guess? My team was being tortured and beaten miserably.
Third match and it was with Jia Ning's team again. I was like... ok random player and I got Templar Assassin. Never use her before. Don't think I'll use her again. Die again.....
What a No0b am I....
Going to play again this Monday with the sec 1s. We shall see...
