MOVIES
Mulan is a good start. Now I want to watch more. So I thought maybe I shall write about some movies that I've watched and I want to watch.
2012
I watched it. OK for me. The plot is thin and so unreal. 2012 is not going to take place. (Sorry for those who think you are left with 3 years and so why not play until you die and therefore no need to study. NO. 2012 is not taking place.) It is a science fiction, quite a convincing one but I don't really like this, compared to Independent Days or Days after Tomorrow. In the movie, no one seem to suffer much except for a few panic and fear. People just fell dead from tall building or into the ocean like ants (that is if you are watching from the big screen, it would probably look like a pixel if you watch it on laptop) There are nice volcano eruption and earthquakes and floods but come on, where are the close-up shot of people dying. But overall nice visual effects and I love the volcano.
Mulan
I love it. Not just because it is free but because it has depth, has passion, has everything worth watching. The entire movie can be sum up with the word - SERVANTHOOD.
Servanthood means serving others at the expense of yourself. E.g Mulan served her dad by drafting herself to the army. She wanted to protect her country and loves one by serving as the best general-in-command. Xiao Hu (Mulan's buddy) and some of the soldiers served Mulan by sacrificing themselves to hold off the enemies. There are many other examples, so catch the movie
The Twilight Saga New Moon
Watched the first one, did not really like it but the trailer for the New Moon looks nice enough for me to watch. And I'm watching with my buddy Eric so it is cool.

Caught the trailer while watching Mulan. I thought it looks cool. But this shall be the "have done everything and have nothing to do then watch" movie

Yeah my holiday is here. yipee. Except for one or two outstanding stuffs from school that I have to do, I'm free to do go out, play games, dota, L4D2 (cool I saw someone trying to heck an infected with a samurai sword. I want to play that.) Most importantly, I can prepare Christmas party again. Got drama, got food, got a lot of things. It is on the 18th Dec. venue not confirmed :( - will update again.
BTW church is going to have awesome Christmas drama on the 24th Dec at Jurong church. You guys should come!!! - no I am not acting. I wish.
I watch MULAN yesterday. It was awesome. War Honor Glory Love Romance Filial Piety got everything you name it. Most importantly it was free and I watched it at Lido Shaw House. The theatre is retro and complete with leanable seats. Funny because everytime I watched a movie there, it is always free. Well this time I even got free coffee from Starbucks. They were giving our free coffee!!!

erm... I did not know that this will happen
I played dota again. It was a simple 1v1 game.
I played snipper and because I was going to just 'prolong' the game by shooting everything I can.
So I got into the enemy base and finished off their well of life.
And something strange happen... the frozen throne became invulnerable.
I went.. WAT!!! then how am I going to finish the game.
Then my creeps amass around the invulnerable monument.
And they grew in numbers.

The music is doing something to me and I seems to be getting sentimental. Alvin, how come your songs so emo. Hmm... I read my 2005 entries and (woot) saw how time had passed. Listening to the music while reading my post, especially those in Korea, I cannot help but miss Korea. I miss it so much; the people, the food, the church, the snow, the mountain, the palace, everything. I wonder how everyone is doing now. I wonder if they've still remember me...
I really miss Korea afterall.

and on the issues of not sleeping or staying up late...
for goodness' sake,
PLEASE sleep at night and sleep before 11pm
sleeping deprivation has it's own consequences
1) fatigue (tiredness) result in decrease concentration
2) facial problem such as wrinkle, pimples and eye bags
3) hair lose due to dehydration
4) overweight due to overeating and breakdown in body system
and lastly...
5) DEPRESSION, EMO, MOOD SWING

Today we discussed about disabilities in class.
There are physical disabilities like blindness and deafness; mental and behavior disabilities such as learning disabilities.
But I think there is only one type of disabilities, that is the inability to overcome mindsets.
Of all sins, people who choose to give up on themselves are the greatest of all.
