2010 is going to be the best year yet!
Christmas is over and the year 2010 is approaching.
I'm so excited and so bless that despite 2009 is, to many, a traumatic year, it has been a bliss for me. I'm optimistic about 2010. The challenges I will face, the help that I need, the joy that I'll give and the revelation I'll have, (and the money that I'll make) I can't wait.
I want to thank God for the great 2009.
I want to thank Him for the coming 2010 that it will simply be AWESOME!
I got an awesome church, an awesome cellgroup, awesome friends, awesome career (going to an awesome school) and an awesome family. Who else beside our God in heaven is capable of providing that. (Not me, I really don't think that I have the capacity to work for all these)
That's why we need God. We need the love of God, the anointing of Jesus Christ and the help of the Holy Spirit. (actually they are one but ... can't fathom with my human mind)
It's GREAT being a Christian. I should have been one long long time ago!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
I went to the Botanical Garden with Ting Ting yesterday. We went there to do some chit chat and drawing. It has been a long time since I painted and so I decided to practice painting. After a few struggling attempt, I finally got back the 'feeling' of painting. This is what I've done.Not too bad and I gave it away to Ting Ting
Then it starts to rain! And we did not have umbrellas because we used it the day before and we did not bring it out. So we quickly packed up our stuff and ran to a nearby shelter that was already packed with people. So we just stood there and talked. Fun!
L4D2 is AWESOME!!!
The graphic is amazing. Most of the scenes are set at dusk. So the images are clear and detailed. The levels are also quite challenging. Normal here is more difficult than the normal level for L4D. Then a player can choose to shoot or heck them with knife, smack them with a frying pan, or cut them up with a chainsaw!!!
Then beside Smoker, Hunter, Boomer and Tank, there are other new zombies like Charger, Spitter and Jockey. How can I miss out Witch who is now not just passively sitting at a corner but can wander around (aimlessly) to be provoked!
What else can I say? You got to play to find out!

Wow. I've been so busy and finally I can now use some time to blog.
Hmm... Let's see, where shall I start.
I shall continue from movie.
I've watched new moon (last entry) and it was so-so.
Then I watched Planet 51 on Monday with Patrick Ang. It was funny. Human vs alien comedy.
On Wednesday night, I watched Princess and the frog with some of my friends. Ya another Patrick came along in his dashing Navy no3. He looked very cool, should be like that more.
Thursday morning, watched Avatar (normal) with Marcus, Zhen Hong, Zhi Leong, Yong Guang and Alvin. It was awesome. 2hr45min movie is cool. Time passed so fast that I did not even realise that it was that long. I'm going to catch Avatar (3d) tomorrow with my sister at Cathay.
WOW. What an awesome movie week!

I watched NEW MOON
It was so long and draggyyyyyyyy. I can't believe it.
And I actually can't remember the beginning as soon as it ends.
I went to fix my guitar today. The guys there advised me that it was not worth cos repair fee is actually quite high. I am contemplating of getting an acoustic guitar now. Any lobang?

MOVIES
Mulan is a good start. Now I want to watch more. So I thought maybe I shall write about some movies that I've watched and I want to watch.
2012
I watched it. OK for me. The plot is thin and so unreal. 2012 is not going to take place. (Sorry for those who think you are left with 3 years and so why not play until you die and therefore no need to study. NO. 2012 is not taking place.) It is a science fiction, quite a convincing one but I don't really like this, compared to Independent Days or Days after Tomorrow. In the movie, no one seem to suffer much except for a few panic and fear. People just fell dead from tall building or into the ocean like ants (that is if you are watching from the big screen, it would probably look like a pixel if you watch it on laptop) There are nice volcano eruption and earthquakes and floods but come on, where are the close-up shot of people dying. But overall nice visual effects and I love the volcano.
Mulan
I love it. Not just because it is free but because it has depth, has passion, has everything worth watching. The entire movie can be sum up with the word - SERVANTHOOD.
Servanthood means serving others at the expense of yourself. E.g Mulan served her dad by drafting herself to the army. She wanted to protect her country and loves one by serving as the best general-in-command. Xiao Hu (Mulan's buddy) and some of the soldiers served Mulan by sacrificing themselves to hold off the enemies. There are many other examples, so catch the movie
The Twilight Saga New Moon
Watched the first one, did not really like it but the trailer for the New Moon looks nice enough for me to watch. And I'm watching with my buddy Eric so it is cool.

Yeah my holiday is here. yipee. Except for one or two outstanding stuffs from school that I have to do, I'm free to do go out, play games, dota, L4D2 (cool I saw someone trying to heck an infected with a samurai sword. I want to play that.) Most importantly, I can prepare Christmas party again. Got drama, got food, got a lot of things. It is on the 18th Dec. venue not confirmed :( - will update again.
BTW church is going to have awesome Christmas drama on the 24th Dec at Jurong church. You guys should come!!! - no I am not acting. I wish.
I watch MULAN yesterday. It was awesome. War Honor Glory Love Romance Filial Piety got everything you name it. Most importantly it was free and I watched it at Lido Shaw House. The theatre is retro and complete with leanable seats. Funny because everytime I watched a movie there, it is always free. Well this time I even got free coffee from Starbucks. They were giving our free coffee!!!
