Hi guys, I just came back from a business trip in Jakarta. Praise God for the great weather, traffic and security. This trip has been amazing for me, not only do I get to meet the best people around, I also get to witness the development of Jakarta. Modern high-rises that aimed to out-beat one another in height and aesthetic. Bigger and posher cars flooded the road. Hotels cease operation to make way for a mega face-lift. Something is happening to this part of the world. Give her another 10 years and the whole city will be transformed. Wonderful.

Not just that, I am treated almost like the wealthiest person around. We were put up in Hotel Nikko, Jakarta. Simply amazing. Each of us were given a "Nikko Double room"- huge room. (so huge you can hold a cellgroup meeting there) Not to mentioned the size of the bathroom that comes with it.-probably the size of my room! This is one of their best rooms within the executive range. (how do i know this, i designed their low-range guestrooms and if i have problem squeezing in a mini-fridge, the room is small!!)

Restaurants are simply amazing. Beside breakfast at the 15th floor with cities views, we dined in posh restaurants like "Mei" and " Origami". Both Japanese restaurants and being a sashimi lover, I had plates of sashimi for every meals. Wow, brain booster. God is good. There are also live performers who would come to your table to sing you a song or two. We got them to play "MY WAY"- nostalgia.
